Key takeaways
- On November 4, 2026, the Triple Whale pricing page showed no dollar price for Foundation, Automate or Enterprise: each card leads to a walkthrough or a sales call.
- Paid plans are priced on annual GMV, which the Triple Whale billing article defines as Order Revenue over the last 365 days, not the Total Sales metric.
- Foundation, Automate and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly or annually with two months free, as of November 4, 2026.
- The free plan needs no credit card and stops at 10 users and 12 months of data, while every paid plan includes unlimited users and a monthly Moby AI allotment.
Triple Whale has a free plan and three paid plans, Foundation, Automate and Enterprise, and the paid plans are priced on a combination of your brand's annual GMV and the package you choose, according to Triple Whale's pricing page as of November 4, 2026. That page shows no dollar amount for any paid plan: Foundation and Automate lead to "Book a walkthrough" and Enterprise to "Contact sales", so the price comes from a quote. The paid plans are 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly or annually with two months free.
This guide reads the pricing page, the Triple Whale help center and the Triple Whale terms of service as they stood on November 4, 2026. The terms say fees are generally due in US dollars.

The plans article adds that the plans, add-ons, included Moby usage and pricing available to you may vary with your annual GMV, contract and account configuration. There is no App Store price to compare either: on November 4, 2026, Triple Whale's Shopify App Store page displayed "This app is not currently available on the Shopify App Store", and the onboarding guide starts from an account created on Triple Whale's site, then a Shopify connection and the Triple Pixel.
What sets the price of a Triple Whale plan?
Three inputs, according to the pricing page FAQ and the help center:
- Your annual GMV. The pricing FAQ says prices are based on "a combination of your brand's annual GMV and the package you choose". The Triple Whale billing article is more precise: pricing is based on your business's Order Revenue over the last 365 days, and not on the Total Sales metric, which excludes returns.
- The package. Foundation, Automate or Enterprise, each including the one before it.
- Your contract and setup. The plans article lists both among the factors that change what is available to you.

The terms of service describe fees "based on Customer gross revenue or other sales metrics", exclusive of taxes, and warn that growth may trigger different rates. The pricing FAQ says what that means: when your revenue grows, you automatically move to the plan for your new revenue tier, with notice well in advance, unless you prepaid the year, which locks your tier. Users and stores do not move the price: every paid plan includes unlimited users and connects as many stores as needed.
What does each Triple Whale plan include?
The "Compare every package" table on the Triple Whale pricing page shows where each capability starts. The rows that most often decide the plan:

Source: "Compare every package" table on the Triple Whale pricing page, read on November 4, 2026.
Three notes from the same page:
- The success manager has a threshold. The comparison table on the pricing page marks the dedicated customer success manager as available for brands with GMV of $10M+.
- Sonar is not sold separately. The pricing FAQ says Sonar Send and Sonar Optimize come standard with every paid package at no additional cost.
- Integrations are on every plan, free included: Shopify, the ad platforms, and email and SMS tools such as Klaviyo, Attentive and Omnisend. If Klaviyo is your email tool, our Klaviyo pricing guide covers that side of the budget.
What does the free plan include?
According to the pricing page and the Triple Whale free plan page, read on November 4, 2026, the free plan brings paid, owned, subscription and organic performance into one real-time view, tracks ChatGPT mentions, citations and sentiment of your brand, installs the Triple Pixel with first and last click attribution, and lets you use Moby to ask questions and generate creative. The comparison table on the pricing page sets its limits: 10 users, 12 months of data, the Triple Pixel marked "Partially", a light post-purchase survey, and no CSV export or ad platform controls.
It is a reasonable place to agree on the metrics before paying for attribution. Our guide to what ROAS is and how to calculate it covers the formula most attribution dashboards lead with.
How does Moby AI usage affect the bill?
Moby is Triple Whale's AI operator, and its usage comes with the plan. The Moby Usage FAQs and the plans article, read on November 4, 2026, set these rules:
- An allotment comes with every paid plan, sized to your plan, GMV, contract and account. Foundation supports daily use; Automate and Enterprise expand it for automations, specialists and creative work.
- Usage follows AI cost. Triple Whale measures it against the large language model cost it incurs when Moby works: chat questions, automation runs, image generation and edits, and publishing creative to Meta, Google or TikTok all draw on it.
- A warning, then a pause. The Moby Usage FAQs say a banner appears at 80% of the allotment, and at 100% the Moby work that draws usage pauses until you top up, with "no surprise bill and no silent overage".
- No rollover. Included usage resets each month.
- Two top-up rates. Additional usage costs a standard rate on Foundation and a preferred rate on Automate and Enterprise. Neither rate is published.
- Model choice changes consumption. Automate and Enterprise can pick any model, and the plans article warns that some models use significantly more for the same task.
Agencies and multi-brand groups can put several businesses under one subscription: the billing groups article describes one credit wallet shared by the group.
Which Triple Whale add-ons cost extra?
Add-ons are optional unless a plan marks them as included, and none has a published price: each card on the pricing page leads to sales.
| Add-on | What it covers | Foundation | Automate | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Retention | Segment syncing to ad and retention platforms, RFM segments | Add-on | Included | Included |
| Conversion | Custom events, path and funnel analysis, site search and page speed | Add-on | Included | Included |
| Compass | MMM, incrementality testing and multi-touch attribution in one system | Add-on, if eligible | Add-on, if eligible | Included |
| Data Warehouse Sync | Automated export to BigQuery, Snowflake and others | Add-on | Add-on | Add-on |
Source: Triple Whale pricing page, power-ups and comparison table, and the plans article, read on November 4, 2026.
The pricing page also lists Moby Concierge, custom builds scoped per customer, and Context Engineering Support as add-ons. According to the Triple Whale plans article, Compass is generally recommended for businesses with at least $10 million in annual GMV so its models have enough data, though that is not a strict eligibility rule, and Data Warehouse Sync needs its own entitlement even on Enterprise.
Is Triple Whale billed monthly or annually?
The commitment is annual either way. The rules, as of November 4, 2026:
- 12-month term. The pricing page FAQ says Foundation, Automate and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly or annually with two months free.
- The annual saving. Two free months out of twelve, as the pricing page states, is 2 ÷ 12, about 16.7%. The billing article describes switching to annual billing as saving over 15%.
- Tier lock. Prepaying the year locks your revenue tier for that year, even if your sales grow.
- No pause on a contract. The billing article says a subscription on a 12-month contract cannot be paused during that term. Without one, you can downgrade to the free plan, which it calls Founders Dash, and keep your tracked data.
- 30 days' notice. The billing article says cancellation requires 30 days' notice, with billing and access continuing meanwhile, and the terms say fees stay due until you give 30 days' notice of termination or non-renewal.
What would Triple Whale cost two different stores?
No paid price is published, so this example shows which package each store should ask about and how a quote turns into a yearly cost. Both stores are fictional, and "Q" is the monthly price Triple Whale quotes.
Store A: $2.4 million of Order Revenue over the last 365 days, a team of 12, Meta and Google ads. It wants multi-touch attribution, SQL and segment syncing to its email tool.
- The free plan does not fit: it stops at 10 users and first and last click attribution.
- Foundation covers attribution and SQL, but segment syncing is the Retention add-on there and is included on Automate. Ask for two quotes: Foundation with Retention, and Automate.
- Then compare the two ways to pay:
| Billing choice | Paid over 12 months | If revenue grows during the year |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | 12 × Q | You move to the plan for your new revenue tier, with notice |
| Annual prepaid | 10 × Q | Your tier stays locked for the year |
Rules from the Triple Whale pricing page FAQ, read on November 4, 2026. The difference is 2 × Q a year.
If Store A expects fast growth, the tier lock matters as much as the two free months, because on monthly billing a higher revenue tier reached mid-year moves the store to that tier's plan for the rest of the term.
Store B: $14 million of Order Revenue, two brands, sales through retail partners. It wants marketing mix modeling and incrementality tests.
- The plans article says Enterprise is generally designed for businesses with at least $10 million in annual GMV, as a recommendation rather than a strict rule. It includes Compass, retail and wholesale data, multi-brand capabilities and dedicated success coverage, at custom pricing.
- The quote to compare is Automate with Compass as an add-on, which the plans article says may be available to eligible Automate businesses.
- Warehouse export is Data Warehouse Sync, a separate add-on even on Enterprise.
- The two brands can share one Moby usage wallet through a billing group.
How do you check your own Triple Whale cost?
- Pull your order revenue for the last 365 days. Triple Whale prices on Order Revenue, not on Total Sales, which excludes returns.
- Start on the free plan to check that your data comes through. No credit card is required.
- List the capabilities you need and find the lowest package that includes each one in the comparison table above.
- Book the walkthrough and ask for the monthly and annual price at your tier, the included Moby usage, the top-up rate and the price of each add-on.
- Ask how your tier will move if revenue grows.
- Note the term: 12 months, with 30 days' notice before renewal.
- Decide how you will judge the result. Our guides to ecommerce KPIs and customer lifetime value cover the metrics and formulas that attribution and cohort reports lead to.
Triple Whale's fee comes on top of your platform bill, which our guides to Shopify pricing and Shopify Plus pricing cover.
How do you see WhatsApp sales in Triple Whale?
Triple Whale's plan comparison names email and SMS integrations such as Klaviyo, Attentive and Omnisend, and does not name WhatsApp. WhatsApp sales can still appear in its reports through UTM parameters. The Triple Whale help center says any UTM source is tracked by its pixel, while only named providers (Attentive, Postscript, Mailchimp, Omnisend, SMSbump, Via) appear in the Email/SMS tab. Its article on non-integrated channels adds that you can map an ad spend value to those UTMs, to put a channel's cost next to its revenue.
Kanal, our WhatsApp marketing app for Shopify, has no integration with Triple Whale, but it tags its own links. According to Kanal's attribution and UTM tracking article:
- UTM tracking adds
utm_source("kanal" by default, editable),utm_medium("whatsapp" by default, editable) andutm_campaign(the campaign or automation name) when messages are sent. - Only tracked links get them: template buttons, carousel buttons and button links in automations. A link typed in the message text gets none, and existing UTMs are never overwritten.
- Kanal's own revenue figures follow its attribution settings: an order goes to the last message the customer received before buying, within a window you set from 12 hours to 5 days (5 days by default).
Source: Kanal help center, attribution and UTM tracking, read on November 4, 2026.
Expect different totals in the two tools: Kanal counts the orders that follow a message within its window, while Triple Whale applies the attribution model you choose. Our guide to WhatsApp marketing ROI explains which figures to compare. Kanal tracks revenue for each message across WhatsApp campaigns and flows such as abandoned cart recovery. Its plans cost €89 (Pro), €149 (Scale) and €350 (Business) a month on the Kanal pricing page, read on November 4, 2026, and Meta bills WhatsApp messages on top.
